Goddess of vengeance and retribution.
In some versions of the myth, she was known as the Goddess of retribution to folks who were way too hubristic (pompous, blowhards). She chopped mortals with too much pride down to size. She was especially known for Narcissus’ demise.
She was also known for being the mother of Helen (of Troy) and her twin, Clytemnestra as well as Castor and Pollux. I pointed this out specifically, because these were two sets of twins hatched from eggs… that she laid… I guess? Gods are weird.
