In some versions of the myth, didn’t show up very frequently as an active role in myth but certainly played an active role in terms of ancient greek folks worshipping her. She was often depicted alongside Artemis and Persephone, holding torches and carrying children from the darkness into the light. I think that was pretty cool. Its got to be if she pretty much represented one of the most hardcore things some women go through in their lives.
