I love this website it’s really helpful whenever I forget who a certain entity in Greek mythology is since it is very simple and the artwork is just very charming. Just wanted to say that the Athena didn’t kill the Titan Pallas, she was friends with a girl named Pallas and they were playing around and probably before she was considered a goddess of wisdom she demonstrated this lack of wisdom by accidentally killing her(probably threw a disk at her or some shut), hence adding Pallas to her name. Due to Athena being a goddess of war and Pallas a god of war the word was probably associated with war but idk. So yeah that’s it. Keep it up you’re doing Prometheus’s work!

I know this is a very late response to this reply. I honestly did not realise folks were still reading this series in the year 2023 and I’m honestly touched at the thoughtful reply!
There ARE two versions of this myth and they often get confused. It’s actually pretty interesting that you bring this up as I’m redoing the entire series from scratch and was considering reposting them up here too (without deleting the old ones of course for folks who still like this version).

I’ve learned a LOT in the 10 years since I started the project with a lot of interesting talk and discussion with folks like you so thank you for making this comment <3
