Goddess of astronomy and astronomical writings.
In some versions of the myth, she was often considered a representation of ‘the heavens’ and was dressed in a fancy cloak embroidered with stars. She was often depicted with a celestial globe and a little staff she pointed to this globe with. She had this really neat ability to foretell the future via the stars which was so. Cool.
Unfortunately, later on down the line they shoved her into the narrative as some sort of daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne, but I like the bits where she is way, way cooler than that.
