God of trickery and guile.
In some versions of the myth, he was known as a master at cunning deception, craftiness and treachery. All this because he was mostly known for making a fake copy of the Veritas (a statue of a really important goddess lady) in order to trick people into thinking they were seeing the real one. Oddly enough and despite the fact that he ran out of clay to make the feet, his master (who also happened to be Prometheus, creator of mankind) was really impressed by the similarity between the two and appointed Dolos as the God of trickery. Not bad for a prank gone wrong.
