God of cheese and beekeeping.
In some versions of the myth, it was said Hermes took him to be raised on ambrosia nectar which kinda made him an illegitimate God. In an attempt to fix this, Hermes taught him all kinds of tiny useful tricks that Aristaeus could teach humans like: setting traps, cheesemaking and beekeeping. So, while his wife was the badass and ran off to do her hunterly duties, he was more of a homebody and teacher. It was one of the first legitimate role-reversals I’ve seen so far. Super NEAT.
